48-Port Gigabit Managed Stackable Layer 2/3/4 Switch
with 4 Combo Mini-GBIC Ports, Integrated 10Gbps Stacking & Optional 10Gbps Uplinks
D-Link’s xStack Series is a set of “Next Generation” high performance stackable switches that deliver high
scalability, wire-speed Gigabit performance, high availability, integrated 10-Gigabit stacking, redundant power
option, and support for stacking in a “ring” or “star” topology (Star requires DGS-3324SRi as stacking master).
The xStack DXS-3350SR provides 48 built-in copper Gigabit ports, including 4 Combo SFP ports supporting
either copper links or SFP modules for easy, flexible connection to fiber-based Gigabit media. In a ring stack it
can provide up to 336 Gigabit ports, up to 40Gbps of stacking bandwidth per switch, and a switching capacity of
up to 176Gbps per unit. It also stacks with the other xStack Series switches including the DGS-3324SR, DGS-
3324SRi, and DXS-3326GSR to provide unprecedented flexibility in a switch stack environment.
The xStack DXS-3350SR in a ring stacking topology supports “Shortest-Path, Fail-Safe” switching which
improves resiliency, uptime and network efficiency. It also supports an optional Redundant Power Supply (DPS-
500) and includes support for 802.3ad Link Aggregation, 802.1d Spanning Tree, 802.1w Rapid Spanning Tree,
and 802.1s Multiple Spanning Tree for increased network reliability and availability.
24-Port Gigabit Mini-GBIC Managed Stackable Layer 2/3/4 Switch
with 4 Combo 10/100/1000 Ports, Integrated 10Gbps Stacking & Optional 10Gbps Uplinks
The D-Link xStack DXS-3326GSR is designed to meet the most demanding high port density fiber
requirements. Each unit provides 24 Gigabit fiber Mini-GBIC slots, including (4) 10/100/1000 ports, and
switching capacity of 128Gbps.
D-Link xStack Switches can stack up to 12 units in a stack, providing up to 336 Gigabit ports, and up to
40Gbps of shared stacking bandwidth in a ring topology or 120Gbps of aggregated stacking bandwidth in a
“star” topology. The DXS-3326GSR stacks with the other xStack Switches including the DGS-3324SR, DGS-
3324SRi and DXS-3350SR, providing unprecedented flexibility in a switch stack environment.
24-Port Managed Layer 2/3 Copper Gigabit Stacking Master
with 8 Mini-GBIC Ports & 6 Integrated 10Gbps Stacking and Optional 10Gbps Uplinks
The D-Link DGS-3324SRi operates as a high performance external switching fabric for the xStack series of
stackable switches. The “Star” architecture of the DGS-3324SRi offers many of the same advantages as traditional
chassis based solutions such as dedicated bandwidth, removable flash memory system, optional redundant power
and hot-swappability. Along with its high availability architecture, the DGS-3324SRi supports ASIC Based Layer
3 routing (RIPv1/v2, OSPF, and DVMRP), multi-layer traffic classification, and L2/L3/L4 Access Control Lists.
The DGS-3324SRi implements a robust and consistent set of QoS/CoS, VLAN, and Security features. The DGS-
3324SRi and DGS-3324SR switches support 8 priority queues for 802.1p/TOS/DiffServ, with classification and
marking based on MAC SA/DA, IP SA/DA, and/or TCP/UDP port numbers. Security features include: 802.1x
(port based authentication) 802.1x (MAC based authentication), Access Control Lists based on MAC address, IP
address, and/or TCP/UDP port numbers. The DGS-3324SRi also has extensive support for GARP/GVRP, 802.1q,
and port based VLANs.
24-Port Managed Layer 3 Gigabit Stacking Slave
with 4 Combo Mini-GBIC Ports & Integrated 10Gbps Stacking
The D-Link DGS-3324SR is a Layer 3, 24-Port managed 10/100/1000Mbps with 4 x Combo ports supporting
Mini-GBIC modules. It has an 88Gbps switching capacity and supports dual integrated 10 Gigabit stacking ports
for up to 40Gbps of full-duplex stacking bandwidth when used in a ring architecture.
The DGS-3324SR implements a robust and consistent set of QoS/CoS, VLAN, and Security features. Supporting
8 priority queues for 802.1p/TOS/DiffServ, with classification and marking based on MAC SA/DA, IP SA/
DA, and/or TCP/UDP port numbers. Layer 3 dynamic routing protocols include: RIPv1/v21, OSPFv21, and
DVMRP. Security features of the DGS-3324SR include: 802.1x (Port Based Authentication) 802.1x (MAC based
authentication), and Access Control Lists based on MAC address, IP address, and/or TCP/UDP port numbers.
The switch also has extensive support for GARP/GVRP, 802.1q, and port based VLANs for up to 255 groups
per device.
9-slot 160Gbps Chassis Switch
The D-Link DES-6500 is a high-availability, high-port density, advanced chassis-based switch that provides a flexible networking solution to
core network enviroments. This 9-slot chassis offers a high switch fabric capacity of 160Gbps supporting wire-speed L2/L3 packet switching
in dynamic or static environments. High port densities using a comprehensive range of network media supporting L2/L3/L4 Class of Service
(CoS) and Access Control Lists (ACL) are possible using this Enterprise class product. This switch also supports multiple link aggregation,
fault tolerance with hot-swappable CPU module/line cards and redundant power supplies, traffic monitoring, and comprehensive network
management.
Some of the advanced features the DES-6500 supports includes IP (RIP, OSPF) and IGMP, DVMRP, and PIM multicasting for logical network
segmentation and traffic control. It also supports a complete set of Spanning Tree Protocol (STP), Rapid Spanning Tree Protocol (RSTP),
and Multiple Spanning Tree Protocol for Layer 2 redundancy. With Dual Image support this LAN switch provides options to boot from one
image or another.
The hardware and software features of the DES-6500 all seamlessly work together allowing customers to build affordable, high performance,
highly available and highly secure networks. The D-Link DES-6500 chassis offers a price/performance ratio second to none, and provides the
necessary means to deploy a cost-effective enterprise backbone network.
