Instruction to Bidders : Bids are to be submitted in sealed envelope superscribed <strong>with</strong> the above tender<br />
no. & due d<strong>at</strong>e and description <strong>of</strong> supplies. Bids received after the due d<strong>at</strong>e & time are liable to be rejected.<br />
If not bidding please return the enquiry document along <strong>with</strong> the regret letter <strong>with</strong>in the due d<strong>at</strong>e. The<br />
tenderer should quote in English both in figures as well as in words the r<strong>at</strong>es and amounts tendered by him<br />
in the schedule <strong>of</strong> r<strong>at</strong>es (SOR) <strong>of</strong> tender submitted by the bidder for each item and in such a way th<strong>at</strong><br />
interpol<strong>at</strong>ion is not possible. Tenders incomplete in any respect and/or the prescribed conditions are not<br />
fulfilled are liable to rejected.<br />
Tenderer should quote on FOR Destin<strong>at</strong>ion, Nagap<strong>at</strong>tinam basis clearly indic<strong>at</strong>ing the percentage <strong>of</strong> taxes<br />
applicable <strong>with</strong>out C-Form and duties, freight charges etc. applicable on the items quoted <strong>with</strong>out any<br />
devi<strong>at</strong>ion failing which the tender shall be rejected <strong>with</strong>out seeking any clarific<strong>at</strong>ion.<br />
<strong>GAIL</strong> has to finalise the purchase <strong>with</strong>in the time schedule. Hence it may not be feasible to seek<br />
clarific<strong>at</strong>ion in respect <strong>of</strong> in complete <strong>of</strong>fers. Evalu<strong>at</strong>ion shall be made based on available documents.<br />
Hence, bidders are advised to ensure th<strong>at</strong> the bids are complete in all respect and confirm to our terms &<br />
conditions. Bids not complying <strong>with</strong> <strong>GAIL</strong>'s requirement may be rejected <strong>with</strong>out seeking any clarific<strong>at</strong>ion.<br />
Bidders are requested to sign and stamp all the pages <strong>of</strong> tender documents.<br />
The bidder has not put on holiday by <strong>GAIL</strong>, or black listed by any other Govt. departments/ Public sectors.<br />
Bids should be valid for 120 days from the d<strong>at</strong>e <strong>of</strong> opening <strong>of</strong> tender. Bids thru telex/ telegram/fax/email<br />
are not acceptable.<br />
This RFQ is an integral and in separable part <strong>of</strong> the bid document.<br />
Bidders are advised to quote strictly as per terms & conditions <strong>of</strong> the tender document including GCC and<br />
specific<strong>at</strong>ions as per tender and not to devi<strong>at</strong>e any stipul<strong>at</strong>ions/ exceptions. Once quoted, the bidders shall<br />
not make any subsequent price changes whether resulting <strong>of</strong> arising out <strong>of</strong> any technical/commercial<br />
clarific<strong>at</strong>ions sought regarding the bid, even if any devi<strong>at</strong>ion <strong>of</strong> exception may specifically st<strong>at</strong>ed in the bid.<br />
Such price changes shall render the <strong>of</strong>fer liable for rejection.<br />
Tenders are requested to quote as per tender terms & conditions and submit the documents as asked for<br />
<strong>with</strong>out any devi<strong>at</strong>ion failing which the tender shall be rejected <strong>with</strong>out seeking any clarific<strong>at</strong>ion.<br />
If desired, you may depute your represent<strong>at</strong>ive <strong>with</strong> proper authoris<strong>at</strong>ion for <strong>at</strong>tending the bid opening.<br />
<strong>GAIL</strong> reserves the right to accept or reject any or all tenders received <strong>at</strong> its absolute discretion <strong>with</strong>out<br />
assigning any reason wh<strong>at</strong> so ever.<br />
