The AFCSC is located in Kettering, OH and open<br />

0700-1700 EST. Personnel who were not moved using the<br />

DPS system can file using the AFCSC website<br />

https://claims.jag.af.mil. Claims for damages to POVs<br />

that occur during shipment can also be filed on the<br />

AFCSC website.<br />

The base legal office is available to assist claimants with<br />

general claims information and questions daily between<br />

0830 and 1600. Please call 228-5242 for assistance.<br />

MILITARY JUSTICE<br />

The Military Justice Division of the Legal Office<br />

reviews evidence and provides advice to commanders<br />

and first sergeants on appropriate disciplinary and<br />

administrative actions ranging from letters of counseling/<br />

admonishment/reprimand, Article 15s, and UCMJ actions,<br />

to administrative discharges and courts-martial.<br />

<strong>Air</strong> <strong>Force</strong> courts-martial are open to the public. The<br />

docket of up-coming courts-martial is found at<br />

http://www.afjag.af.mil/docket/index.asp.<br />

AREA DEFENSE COUNSEL<br />

The Area Defense Counsel at <strong>Davis</strong>-<strong>Monthan</strong><br />

is separate from both the Staff Judge Advocate<br />

and the base command channels. It reports to the<br />

western circuit’s <strong>Air</strong> <strong>Force</strong> Judge Advocate General,<br />

headquartered at Travis <strong>Air</strong> <strong>Force</strong> <strong>Base</strong>, Calif.<br />

The ADC provides objective legal defense services to<br />

military members facing Article 15, court-martial, forced<br />

discharge actions and investigations by security police<br />

or the Office of Special Investigations, as well as any<br />

other adverse actions in which counsel is required or<br />

authorized. To reach the Area Defense Counsel call<br />

SEXUAL ASSAULT RESPONSE<br />

COORDINATOR (SARC)<br />

The Installation Sexual Assault Response Coordinator<br />

is located on the first floor of Building 2300. Office<br />

hours are weekdays from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and<br />

by appointment. The SARC can be contacted by calling<br />

(520) 228-7272 or (520) 228-SARC. The 24/7 crisis-line<br />

number is (520) 940-8059.<br />

The SARC manages the installation-level sexual<br />

assault prevention and response program. The primary<br />

focus of the SARC is on victims of sexual assault. The<br />

SARC coordinates victim care and the resolution of<br />

issues related to the survivor’s health and well-being.<br />

There is support 24 hours a day, seven days a week for<br />

all victims.<br />

The SARC assists commanders in meeting annual<br />

SAPR (Sexual Assault Prevention and Response) training<br />

requirements and provides community education<br />

regarding SAPR services.<br />

The SARC recruits, selects and trains victim advocates.<br />

Victim advocates provide support and liaison services to<br />

victims of sexual assault, such as crisis intervention and<br />

referral, and ongoing nonclinical support.<br />

Restricted reporting is available to members of the<br />

Armed <strong>Force</strong>s and the Coast Guard. Military personnel<br />

include members on active duty. If you would like to<br />

report a sexual assault and have questions concerning<br />

restricted reporting, please consider contacting the<br />

SARC as other restrictions may apply. Dependents<br />

and <strong>Air</strong> <strong>Force</strong> civilian employees are not eligible for<br />

restricted reporting.<br />

Only SARC and health care providers may receive<br />

restricted reports of sexual assault. A report may be<br />

made to chaplains as well. For more information<br />

concerning sexual assault please contact the SARC.<br />

FINANCIAL SERVICES<br />

The financial services flight provides travel and<br />

pay services to military (active duty and retired) and<br />

civilian employees, and provides funding certification<br />

responsibilities. They service more than 30,000 customers<br />

and process more than 150,000 transactions annually.<br />

The accounting and finance office is located on East<br />

Granite Street, in Building 2300. Staff members can<br />

answer questions or assist with pay matters that may<br />

arise. The office is open 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays.<br />

The finance office offers a variety of pay and travel<br />

services on a walk-in basis. During in-processing, a<br />

finance representative will help customers complete<br />

travel vouchers and any other finance-related issues. For<br />
