NLPC Bread Ministry
Kroger gives us day-old breads and sweets every
Wednesday and Friday. These are distributed to Christian Ministries
in the area, including Joy House, Hope House, Transition
House, C.A.R.E.S. Food Pantry, Timothy House, Ruth House, Aftercare
Facility, and Women of Hope.
This is one way to show our Christian love and concern for these
folks. This is a reflection of the giving of manna in the Bible, and
Jesus using bread for miracles and parables.
