2.3.1 BellSouth will offer UDLs. UDLs are service specific, will be designed, will be<br />

provisioned with test points (where appropriate), and will come standard with OC<br />

and a DLR. The various UDLs are intended to support a specific digital<br />

transmission scheme or service.<br />

2.3.2 BellSouth shall make available the following UDLs, subject to restrictions set forth<br />

herein:<br />

2.3.2.1 2-wire Unbundled ISDN Digital Loop;<br />

2.3.2.2 2-wire Unbundled ADSL Compatible Loop;<br />

2.3.2.3 2-wire Unbundled HDSL Compatible Loop;<br />

2.3.2.4 4-wire Unbundled HDSL Compatible Loop;<br />

2.3.2.5 4-wire Unbundled DS1 Digital Loop;<br />

2.3.2.6 4-wire Unbundled Digital Loop/DS0 – 64 kbps, 56 kbps and below;<br />

2.3.2.7 DS3 Loop; or<br />

2.3.2.8 STS-1 Loop.<br />

2.3.3 2-wire Unbundled ISDN Digital Loops. These will be provisioned according to<br />

industry standards for 2-Wire Basic Rate ISDN services and will come standard<br />

with a test point, OC, and a DLR. ITC^<strong>DeltaCom</strong> will be responsible for<br />

providing BellSouth with a Service Profile Identifier (SPID) associated with a<br />

particular ISDN-capable Loop and End User. With the SPID, BellSouth will be<br />

able to adequately test the circuit and ensure that it properly supports ISDN<br />

service.<br />

2.3.4 2-wire ADSL-Compatible Loop. This is a designed Loop that is provisioned<br />

according to Revised Resistance Design (RRD) criteria and may be up to 18,000<br />

feet long and may have up to 6,000 feet of bridged tap (inclusive of Loop length).<br />

The Loop is a 2-wire circuit and will come standard with a test point, OC, and a<br />

DLR.<br />

2.3.5 2-wire or 4-wire HDSL-Compatible Loop. This is a designed Loop that meets<br />

Carrier Serving Area (CSA) specifications, may be up to 12,000 feet long and may<br />

have up to 2,500 feet of bridged tap (inclusive of Loop length). It may be a 2-wire<br />

or 4-wire circuit and will come standard with a test point, OC, and a DLR.<br />

2.3.6 4-wire Unbundled DS1 Digital Loop.<br />
