In Dec 24, 1965 <strong>Muha</strong>mmad Speaks ran the following comic<br />

depicting early Islamic heroine Khawla bint al-Azwar, from the<br />

Arab tribe Banu Assad. In this comic she and the Arabs of early<br />

Islam are depicted black-skinned.<br />

These pre-1972 pictorial depicti<strong>on</strong>s visually depict the pre-1972<br />

statements by <str<strong>on</strong>g>THEM</str<strong>on</strong>g> regarding the Black Arabs of <strong>Prophet</strong><br />

<strong>Muha</strong>mmad’s time; they also depict the Black <strong>Muha</strong>mmad.<br />

What happened, if anything, after 1972? On August 3, 1973, 14<br />

m<strong>on</strong>ths after <str<strong>on</strong>g>THEM</str<strong>on</strong>g>’s June 1972 Theology of Time lecture,<br />

<strong>Muha</strong>mmad Speaks republished the depicti<strong>on</strong> of a Black<br />

<strong>Prophet</strong> <strong>Muha</strong>mmad surrounded by his Black Arab followers.<br />
