W087 - Post-Construction Liability and Insurance
Literary award to W087
The very high reputation which W087 has long enjoyed not only in international construction and
insurance circles but among a much wider group of researchers and practitioners outside has received a
further boost with its recent publication Case Studies in Post Construction Liability and Insurance being
awarded a Commendation from the UK Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB).
This year the CIOB initiated an annual literary award in the field of construction and that to W087 was
in the category of textbooks.
CIB sends its warm congratulations to Coordinator Professor Anthony Lavers and the contributors
involved.
It is worth recording that ever since the appearance of what has become known as the famous 'Green
Book' on Post-Construction Liability and Insurance in 1993 W087 has produced a small but select series
of publications that have achieved great success in disseminating knowledge of the topic in the
international context.
