What was your motivation to become a <strong>PGA</strong> Professional?<br />

Being around a game that I love, and have respected all of my life.<br />

What is your specialty in the golf business?<br />

Coaching and Teaching.<br />

What was your greatest moment in golf?<br />

Raising $6,500 for Special Olympian Athletes, in order to help them to<br />

compete in the National Games held in Lincoln, NE (2010). I played<br />

207 holes in 1 day at Sioux City Country Club, and money was raised<br />

by per hole pledges. Two Special Olympian Athletes were able to play<br />

a few holes with me during the marathon day. That was my greatest<br />

moment in golf!<br />

What or who has had the greatest impact on your career?<br />

The award winning <strong>PGA</strong> Professionals I have had the opportunity to<br />

work for.


Besides golf, what else do you enjoy?<br />

Spending time with my wife is #1. But I also enjoy softball, fishing,<br />

and bowling.<br />

If you could play any golf course in the world, which one would<br />

it be and who would complete your foursome?<br />

Augusta National would be the course. My Dad, Zach Johnson, and<br />

Ernie Els would round out the foursome.<br />

If you could give lessons to anyone in the world who would it<br />

be and what advice would you give?<br />

Troubled youth. I would advise them on the similarities between the<br />

responsibilities we have to the game of golf, as well as to our own<br />

personal lives.<br />

What is your favorite golf instruction tip?<br />

Establish a solid base or foundation first.<br />
