Thank you for supporting the Cal Young Barnes & Noble Book Fair
Thank you to the amazing students, staff, parents, volunteers, and community members who made Cal Young’s Barnes & Noble
Book Fair a great success! Not only did we make over $850 for the Library, we had a great time doing it!
Our “Cal Young Night” included a variety of Cal Young talent. Ms. Harpole gathered student art work and created the beautiful art
display that gave a fitting backdrop for the performances.

During the “Mock Battle of the Books,” I was busy asking questions and did not take any photos. If anyone has some photos

Many volunteers and staff members deserve a huge THANK YOU for making the Book Fair a success. Our Volunteer
Coordinator, Dayna Dunteman, gathered a wonderful crew to hand out vouchers, answer questions, welcome supporters, and
keep things running smoothly. Many thanks to Missy Lathon, Sarah Peters, Rebekah Travis, Kristina Fisher, Penny
Klein, Brenda and Ryan Radloff, Sandi Hoselton, Brenda Wisnewski. Ken Carpenter, Trevor Carpenter, Shari
Murphy, Julie Stubbs, Carrie Andreason, and Randy Murphy (roadie extraordinaire!). I also want to thank Mr. Bliss,
Ms. Fiszman, Ms. Freese, Ms. Harpole, Mr. Loy, Ms. Ketsche, and Mr. Powell for making the student performances

THANKS also to the many CY supporters who donated books to the Cal Young Library. Many of the “wishes” for books
were fulfilled! Next year, I need to make sure that the Barnes & Noble cashiers get your names so that I can thank each of you
