SUPER-PERFORMANCE
The Pegaso 650 Strada’s new single cylinder 4-valve, liquid cooled engine delivers 50 HP (35 kW) at 6,250 rpm. The
engine boasts an advanced electronic injection system that guarantees brilliant performance, miserly consumption
and bags of fl exibility in all conditions, from sports riding to daily commuting. The digital ignition system incorporates
an electronic immobiliser with a programmable security code to keep your mind at ease. The twin exhaust is
homologated to Euro 2 standards in line with the latest environmental legislation.
SUPER-AGILITY
Go on! Open that throttle and experience the incredible feeling of confi dence and control you get from the Strada. The
single spar steel frame is amazingly rigid and incredibly light, just like a top supermotard frame. The mighty 45 mm
fork and Sachs gas-fi lled rear monoshock with adjustable preload and rebound are calibrated to make riding as easy
as pie. The front brake features a 320 mm fl oating disc and a four-pot caliper, while the rear brake uses a 240 mm
disc and two-pot caliper to deliver the powerful yet controllable stopping power you would normally expect only from
a sports bike. The generous road-going tyres, 110/70 at the front and 160/60 at the rear, encourage you to unleash
off-road style aggression and agility, confi dent in the safety and control of a true road bike.

The fascinating design of the Pegaso 650
Strada is inspired by the supermotard army
that is now invading our cities, bringing with
it a whole new approach to motorcycling.
The Strada’s compact lines emphasise its
aerodynamic effi ciency and the ergonomics
of the riding position. The self-supporting
nose fairing integrates the instruments and
the large headlight cluster, with simultaneous
dipped/main beams, in one unit to ensure
maximum strength and minimum weight.
The Pegaso 650 Strada is not just a pretty
face! It is an extremely functional motorcycle
too, as demonstrated by the provision of two
separate storage compartments. The tank-top
compartment is opened electronically from
a switch on the handlebars. The under-seat
compartment provides ample room to store
rainproofs and other items. The seat also has
provision for attaching an elastic luggage net,
to keep holiday gear fi rmly in place.

SUPER-TECHNOLOGY
The Strada’s innovative instruments are stylish
and sporty in design. Information can be accessed
easily and instantly from a joystick control at the
hand-grip. An analogue rev counter is accompanied
by a large, multifunctional digital display. An onboard
computer generates all essential data for the
system to display, including the immobiliser code
(01), analogue rev counter (02), digital speedometer
(03), user-variable gearshift threshold (04), maximum
speed, engine diagnostics, odometer with two trip
counters, chronometer, clock, hazard warning,
engine temperature and fuel level bars, battery meter,
plus 6 warning and function indicators (05) (generic
warning, direction indicators, main beam, fuel
reserve, neutral, and side stand).

Born light and agile to burn up those bends, the Pegaso 650 Strada also has an
urban side to its nature. Comfortable and manoeuvrable, it is the only bike that
can deliver such great, relaxed fun around town. The Pegaso 650 Strada can slip
through the traffi c with amazing ease, thanks to an extremely wide steering angle
that lets you “dribble” through the queues. A seat height of just 780 mm enables
riders of all statures to get their feet on the fl oor quickly, easily and fi rmly. All this

achieved by a combination of innovation and
Aprilia Racing Team technology, plus the class
and courage of French rider Jerome Giraudo.
