Note : 50 % marks is earmarked for continuous evalu<strong>at</strong>ion, <strong>and</strong> 50 % marks for end <strong>se</strong>mester<br />
examin<strong>at</strong>ion to be as<strong>se</strong>s<strong>se</strong>d by two examiners. A c<strong>and</strong>id<strong>at</strong>e shall <strong>se</strong>cure a minimum of 50 % marks<br />
<strong>se</strong>par<strong>at</strong>ely for the two components to be eligible for a pass in th<strong>at</strong> subject.<br />
SE 708 SEMINAR<br />
Students shall individually prepare <strong>and</strong> submit a <strong>se</strong>minar report on a topic of current relevance<br />
rel<strong>at</strong>ed to the field of Safety <strong>and</strong> Fire Engineering. The reference shall include st<strong>and</strong>ard journals,<br />
conference proceedings, reputed magazines <strong>and</strong> text books, technical reports <strong>and</strong> URLs. Each students<br />
shall be evalu<strong>at</strong>ed by a team of internal experts comprising of 3 teachers ba<strong>se</strong>d on style of<br />
pre<strong>se</strong>nt<strong>at</strong>ion, technical content, adequacy of references, depth of knowledge <strong>and</strong> overall quality of the<br />
<strong>se</strong>minar report.<br />
