Ski Club
Now that winter has finally arrived, the Grand Junction
Tigers have assembled a ski and snowboarding club to take
advantage of the rich opportunities of our state. This club
includes over 80 students and is run by the students with some
supervision from Mr. Justin Whiteford, Mr. Steve Brown, and
Ms. Dawn Wieker. The student officers call ahead and
receive amazing deals on lift tickets for the entire team. This
club bonds before every trip with a movie night organized by
the officers and supervisors. The club allows students to
spend several days a year making friends, having fun, and enjoying the beauty of Colorado
together. Want to ski? Want to board? Want to bond with other adventurous Tigers? Join
the Tiger Ski Club.
