AREA OF CONSIDERATION: Open to current members of the COARNG and those eligible to become members of the COARNG in<br />
the grade of O3. Selectee must be 11A00 qualified or able to become MOSQ within one year of hire in duty AOC. Operation’s<br />
experience at the Infantry company and platoon level, command qualification and Maneuver Captain’s Career Course completion is<br />
preferred. Officer must be deployable. Unit scheduled to deploy 20<strong>13</strong>/2014. COARNG AGR applicants within the first 24 months of<br />
their initial AGR tour must have an approved exception to policy from the COS for reassignment. Soldiers must meet initial eligibility<br />
requirements of Table 2-1, AR <strong>13</strong>5-18 and be in compliance with DA PAM 611-21. PCS funds subject to availability. Per ARNG-<br />
HRH Policy Memo #10-039, AGR Personnel must complete required NGB per training within one year of assignment to<br />
position. Applicant must meet Chapter 3 physical standards IAW NGR 40-501 and AR 40-501.<br />

1. NGB 34-1 must be complete with original signature.<br />
2. PHYSICAL: Individual Medical Readiness Record (MEDPROS) with last Periodic Health Assessment (PHA) within 12 months.<br />
If your last PHA is older than 12 months at time of hire a new PHA will be required prior to hire date.<br />
Must have HIV less than 24 months old at time of application. If test results are older than 24 months you will be required to<br />
have new test results prior to hire date.<br />
3. DA Photograph in Class A military uniform (ASUs), three-quarter or full length, taken within the last 12 months.<br />
Name, SSN, Rank, Branch, and date of photo on rear of photograph (unless listed on menu board of official military photo)<br />
4. Photocopy of last 3 OERs.<br />
5. Certified true copy of ORB or DA 2-1 ( each sheet must be certified with original signature of unit administrator or MILPO)<br />
6. Personnel Qualification Record (PQR)<br />
7. Copy of current APFT Scorecard (DA 705). Soldiers on a temporary profile are NOT eligible to enter the AGR program.<br />
8. Copy of current DMA Form 76 (Individual Record of Ht-Wt), if not annotated on DA 705.<br />
Must have a DD 5500 or 5501-R (Female) attach if body fat content test required.<br />

Primary Duties and Responsibilities<br />
Assist the Battalion <strong>S3</strong> in all matters concerning training, operations, plans, force development and modernization. Supervise the command<br />
training program. Identify and coordinate training requirements and allocate training resources. Plan and conduct training inspections.<br />
Maintain the unit readiness status of each unit. Prepare, coordinate and publish the Standard Operating Procedures, Operations Orders,<br />
Fragmentary Orders, and Warning Orders. Planned and coordinate battalion’s exercises. Focus battalion resources on improving duty<br />
MOS qualification.<br />
