Thankfully, the automotive industry is moving away from fantasyland to the real<br />
world. Our journey towards a better environment started already in the early 70’s.<br />
Then we were among the first carmakers to acknowledge the environmental<br />
downside of cars and to do something about it. Since then we are constantly<br />
innovating to reduce the environmental impact of the cars and how we make them.<br />
In near future we will introduce new technology such as plug-in hybrid vehicles<br />
that will further reduce CO2 emissions and can be charged from a standard wall<br />
socket. And we’re heavily engaged in the development of electrical vehicles – a<br />
technology that will dramatically reduce the environmental footprint of our cars<br />
and make them even more fun to drive.<br />
