3NJ61 Switch Disconnectors with Fuses
General data
Switch disconnectors with continuous connection (realized by
means of standard switch disconnectors and isolating links)
Overview of types according to number of poles
2-pole version
Plug-in in-line disconnectors for 2-pole (DC) applications
always have double-breaks.
Only the outer plug-in contacts (L1, L3 on 3-pole version) are
used.
3-pole version
Plug-in in-line disconnectors in 3-pole version are available
with single-breaks or double-breaks.
4-pole version
Plug-in in-line disconnectors in 4-pole version always have
double-breaks.
The neutral conductor (4th pole) is factory-fitted as an add-on
module on the 3-pole in-line disconnector.
The neutral conductor is dimensioned for 100 % of the phase
conductors.
The connection on the 4th pole is comprised of a permanently
mounted copper bar. A fuse cannot be installed in place of the
copper bar.
The neutral conductor is connected as the first pole when
switched on and is disconnected as the last pole when
switched off.
The in-line disconnector is completely locked in the ON position.
