CONCLUSION<br />
The main characteristic <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> this design soluti<strong>on</strong><br />
is the joint powerhouse for both power plants.<br />
From tender request for two Francis <str<strong>on</strong>g>turbine</str<strong>on</strong>g>, to final<br />
decisi<strong>on</strong> for choosing this <str<strong>on</strong>g>turbine</str<strong>on</strong>g> <str<strong>on</strong>g>type</str<strong>on</strong>g>, with <strong>technical</strong> <strong>and</strong><br />
ec<strong>on</strong>omical str<strong>on</strong>g reas<strong>on</strong>s, processing explained.<br />
Turbine-generator unit <str<strong>on</strong>g>selecti<strong>on</strong></str<strong>on</strong>g> for the new small<br />
hydropower plant is a very sensitive phase <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> the project<br />
development, needs more criteria involved in process <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g><br />
designing.<br />
Most important criteria are <strong>technical</strong> availability operati<strong>on</strong><br />
all equipment during annual period with highest number<br />
<str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> working hours, which means highest total income for<br />
owners <strong>and</strong> investors <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> the small hydropower projects.
