For a crossed screw couple the minimum spacing between the crossing screws is 1,5·d. Minimum thickness for structural members is t = 30 mm for screws with outer thread diameter d = 8 mm, t = 40 mm for screws with outer thread diameter d = 10 mm, t = 60 mm for screws with outer thread diameter d = 11 mm, and t = 80 mm for screws with outer thread diameter d = 12 mm. 4.3 Maintenance and repair Maintenance is not required during the assumed intended working life.
