The European Municipal Equipment Industry –

EUnited Municipal Equipment is the
European Association of Municipal
Equipment Manufacturers. The association
represents the leading manufacturers
of mobile machines used in municipalities
and other public areas. We are
the largest European network and
service provider for the sector. We work
on sector-related items for the benefit
of the industry as a whole and for the
benefit of individual member companies.
Section Sweepers
This section covers manufacturers of surface
cleaning machines for outdoor applications
on public areas, roads, airports
and industrial plants representing more
than 90 % of the European market. These
high sophisticated cleaning machines
range from truck-mounted sweepers,
where the sweeping attachments are fixed
or mounted on a standard vehicle-chassis,
to self-propelled compact sweepers with a
EUnited Municipal Equipment is part

The members of this section are European
small- and medium-sized manufacturers
of winter maintenance equipment such
as snow-clearing machines, e.g. snow
ploughs, snow blowers and cutters and
spreading machines mainly used on public
areas, roads and airports. The main

The section members are the leading
European manufacturers of refuse collection
vehicles. The manufacturers offer
front-, side- and rear-loaded refuse collection
