represents the leading manufacturers<br />
of mobile machines used in municipalities<br />
and other public areas. We are<br />
the largest European network and<br />
service provider for the sector. We work<br />
on sector-related items for the benefit<br />
of the industry as a whole and for the<br />
benefit of individual member companies.<br />
Section Sweepers<br />
This section covers manufacturers of surface<br />
cleaning machines for outdoor applications<br />
on public areas, roads, airports<br />
and industrial plants representing more<br />
than 90 % of the European market. These<br />
high sophisticated cleaning machines<br />
range from truck-mounted sweepers,<br />
where the sweeping attachments are fixed<br />
or mounted on a standard vehicle-chassis,<br />
to self-propelled compact sweepers with a<br />
<strong>EUnited</strong> <strong>Municipal</strong> <strong>Equipment</strong> is part<br />
of the umbrella organisation <strong>EUnited</strong><br />
aisbl that gathers different sector<br />
associations within the European<br />
engineering industry. By joining forces<br />
with similar engineering sectors,<br />
the municipal equipment industry<br />
increases its visibility and creates<br />
added-value.<br />

Section Winter Maintenance <strong>Equipment</strong><br />
The members of this section are European<br />
small- and medium-sized manufacturers<br />
of winter maintenance equipment such<br />
as snow-clearing machines, e.g. snow<br />
ploughs, snow blowers and cutters and<br />
spreading machines mainly used on public<br />
areas, roads and airports. The main<br />
technical topics of this branch are<br />
Section Refuse Collection Vehicles<br />
The section members are the leading<br />
European manufacturers of refuse collection<br />
vehicles. The manufacturers offer<br />
front-, side- and rear-loaded refuse collection<br />
vehicles for collection of household<br />
and industrial waste. A huge diversity of<br />
technical solutions on lifting devices and<br />
pick-up systems is necessary to pick up<br />
and empty all the different designed waste<br />
European standardisation and harmonisation,<br />
the interfaces between attached<br />
equipment and the carrier vehicles and the<br />
standardised test procedure for spreading<br />
