Shortly after Camper Van Beethoven called it quits in 1990, Lowery and his new group began going by the name Cracker. Cracker’s best-known album, Kerosene Hat, spawned the hit Low. They have stayed busy since then putting out at least 8 more albums. They will perform an acoustic show this time around. Also performing, Railbender. Distorted guitars, distorted drums, distorted bass, and distorted vocals all collide into perfect, distorted pop songs. The sound is classic Sub Pop, with a “twist.” The Thermals’ debut is called More Parts Per Million, and we think you will find this title very fitting, as this record pays absolutely no heed to any laws or generally accepted principles of sound recording. You will be please to know that there are still tickets available to this show. Cafe Eleven moneen Working on their latest album The Red Tree, Moneen had a new awakening. The process was both refreshing and painful, but the frustration that came from continually analyzing their work turned into determination to make the best album they could. The payoff is a mature and diverse record where each song is epic, not in length but in scope. Also playing Pistolita, Damiera, and Sonoma. Over the past few years Pepper has been able to hone their skills as songwriters and recording artists. As harder influences such as Nirvana, Black Sabbath, and Pantera are incorporated into their already well developed reggae-rock roots, Pepper is beginning to explore new ground stylistically.
