Priority deadline: If you apply by the quarterly priority deadline<br />

(www.everettcc.edu/deadlines), you will receive priority registration.<br />

The priority for summer deadline for Summer and Fall is May 13.<br />

Teens In ColleGe<br />

If you are younger than 18 and have not yet graduated from high<br />

school or gotten a GED, review our “Teens in <strong>College</strong>” options at<br />

www.everettcc.edu/teensincollege<br />

If you are a junior or senior in high school and interested in our<br />

Running Start program, call 425-388-9073 or send an email to<br />

PlaCeMenT TesTInG<br />

Required of all students taking 7+ credits or taking courses with<br />

English and/or math prerequisites.<br />

Students who have more than 45 college credits, or who have<br />

completed college composition or math classes at another college (with<br />

a grade of C or higher), may submit a copy of their college transcript to<br />

the Enrollment Services Office with a written request for a placement<br />

test waiver. The form is at<br />

www.everettcc.edu/studentforms The waiver may be for a portion of<br />

the test, and waiver of the placement test does not necessarily satisfy<br />

course prerequisites.<br />

A foreign language placement test may be required for placement in a<br />

foreign language course. Contact the Testing Center for testing times.<br />

No fee.<br />

GeD TesTInG<br />

GED testing is offered by appointment in the Glacier Hall Testing<br />

Center. The schedule is available at www.everettcc.edu/testing or by<br />

calling 425-388-9288.<br />

V e t e r a n s<br />

The Veterans’ Resource Center (VRC) is located in<br />

the Parks Student Union, Room 318, 425-388-9277.<br />

Staff are available to assist veterans and activate all<br />

veterans’ educational benefits.<br />

• Veterans may be eligible for priority registration. Work with<br />

the VRC to determine your eligibility.<br />

• If you are on a waitlist for a class, work with the VRC to<br />

make sure funding is in place.<br />

• The VA will not pay for online or hybrid courses if they are<br />

below 100 level.<br />

• Military veterans, current members of the National Guard,<br />

and some dependents of deceased or permanently<br />

disabled veterans may be eligible for a tuition discount.<br />

Must be Washington residents. Contact the EvCC Veterans<br />

Resource Center for certification. An approved certification<br />

card must be submitted at the time of registration.<br />

• Active-duty military and dependents, and dependants of<br />

National Guard members, may be eligible for resident tuition<br />

if they are otherwise classified as non-residents. A copy of<br />

active duty orders and dependent card (or other verification)<br />

is required at the time of registration.<br />
