CORPORATE BUILDINGS BY TODAY’S LEADING ARCHITECTS
OVER 400 FULL COLOR PHOTOGRAPHS BRING THE DESIGNS TO LIFE
EACH PROJECT DETAILED AND EXPLAINED BY THE ARCHITECT
This volume brings together the most innovative corporate buildings
of recent years, projects that are revolutionizing the way corporations
function and the image they project of themselves. With new materials
and design concepts as well as a heightened awareness of ecological
responsibility, the projects represented in this volume reflect the ongoing
changes in the corporate world. Hundreds of full-color photographs plus
detailed illustrations, sketches and plans accompanied by in-depth texts
by the architects themselves make this volume an invaluable resource for
architects, design students and CEOs.
CARLES BROTO, an architecture scholar and one of the founders of the IAC (institute for
alternative culture). Following a successful period at the Atrium Group (Barcelona), he has now
joined Grupo Links - Structure as the publishing director of various contemporary architecture
collections. He is currently investigating the evolution of new American housing, as part of multicountry
project. He lives in Barcelona.
The exterior sun-shading also defines the overall
appearance of the Forum (Q2). Its architecture is
defined by vertical rotating elements that consist
of two components: rotatable axes made of
stainless steel pipes and the perforated two-millimeter-thick
panels made of stainless steel, which
cantilever from the axes.
