Globular teapot on a footring, with a loop handle and a curved
spout, a knot-shaped finial on the domed cover. Decorated in
famille verte enamels. On the body six large and twelve small
medallions in low relief. The large medallions with a border of
pointed petals and filled with flower sprigs; the smaller ones
filled with a flower spray, insects between. The handle and spout
in green with a black flower spray, the knob yellow.
The decoration in relief and the knot-shaped finial make this an
unusual, rather exclusive teapot.
