bIG SKY – The big <strong>Sky</strong><br />

Community Corp. fields and<br />

trails are the hub of local summer<br />

activities.<br />

Last year the nonprofit<br />

organization’s Community Park<br />

hosted 228 softball games on two<br />

brand new fields for 400 rostered<br />

players. The park is the site of little<br />

league and youth softball games,<br />

and is used by Ophir School’s sports<br />

teams. The 4 th of July event and the<br />

Parks and Trails Gala, both hosted<br />

at the park, together brought in<br />

more than 1,000 people last year.<br />

The Ousel falls trail, also managed<br />

by bSCC, saw an estimated 15,000<br />

visitors.<br />

To offset the growing cost of<br />

programming, bSCC is offering<br />

local businesses the opportunity to<br />

executive director.<br />

Trail, play with their children on<br />

of the many other recreational<br />

opportunities the park has to offer.<br />

The trail map will be available at<br />

the big <strong>Sky</strong> Visitor Center, which<br />

last year saw an estimated 100<br />

people per day.<br />

bIG SKY – bozeman Deaconess Health Services is hosting a town hall-style<br />

public forum on June 17 to present the feasibility study for its proposed big <strong>Sky</strong><br />

Medical Center.<br />

The town hall will be held at the big <strong>Sky</strong> Chapel (510 Little Coyote Road), from<br />

7-8:30 p.m. Leadership of bDHS will be on hand to outline the scope and timeline<br />

for the facility and answer questions from community members.<br />
