Anatomic dissections (Oct 13 and 14)<br />
On Oct 13 a full day anatomic workshop surgical rejuvenation<br />
is offered. <strong>The</strong> participants will be taken through the<br />
key procedures of surgical rejuvenation, <strong>in</strong>clud<strong>in</strong>g face lift,<br />
endoscopic brow lift and endoscopic midface lift. Two<br />
participants share one fresh frozen cadaveric head.<br />
On Oct 14 a full day anatomic workshop rh<strong>in</strong>oplasty is<br />
offered. <strong>The</strong> participants will be guided through the key<br />
approaches and maneuvers <strong>in</strong> rh<strong>in</strong>oplasty, <strong>in</strong>clud<strong>in</strong>g septoplasty,<br />
endonasal and open approaches, suture techniques,<br />
graft<strong>in</strong>g, osteotomies, saddle nose reconstruction<br />
etc. Two participants share one fresh frozen cadaveric<br />
head with fully preserved nose.<br />
Workshop arricular reconstruction (Oct 13 and 14)<br />
A full day workshop auricular reconstruction is<br />
offered on Oct 13 and on Oct 14 (both are<br />
identical). One of the world’s lead<strong>in</strong>g experts, Ralph<br />
Magritz from Reckl<strong>in</strong>ghausen, Germany, will teach a<br />
limited number of participants the carv<strong>in</strong>g of an<br />
auricular framework. A special model of synthetic<br />
material resembl<strong>in</strong>g rib cartilage is utilized. Instrumentation,<br />
sutures and surgical technique<br />
are derived from what Dr. Magritz rout<strong>in</strong>ely uses<br />
<strong>in</strong> the operat<strong>in</strong>g room.<br />

After the wonderful success of the past <strong>Regensburg</strong> courses, we<br />

<strong>The</strong> course program is specifically designed to teach facial plastic<br />
surgery techniques <strong>in</strong> a structured, step-wise manner.<br />
