Introduction to PhotoKit Color 2.0 - Pixel Genius

image is in Grayscale, Lab or CMYK color, PhotoKit Color will not be able to process
your image.
Once the image was open in Photoshop, I navigated to the File > Automate menu to
launch PhotoKit Color 2. Because the image was rather dark, I began by choosing the
Tone Enhance Set and selected the Plus 1 Stop PhotoKit Color effect. Note than when
the Preview box is checked, you will see the effect applied in the preview area.
Removing the color cast
Now that the image had been lightened I could then look at removing the strong yellow
cast. Because I wished to produce a cumulative effect here, there was no need to click
OK to add the effect and relaunch the PixelGenius Toolbox. Instead, I clicked on the
Show Batch Options checkbox. This revealed the Batch interface below. I then clicked
on the Add button to add the Tone Enhance > Plus 1 Stop effect to the batch list. Next, I
went back to the Set menu and selected the RSA Gray Balance Set. RSA Gray Balance
Standard is the most effective tool to choose for most images. But to remove a
strong cast such as the one in this photograph here, I selected the RSA Neutralize effect
and clicked the Add button again to add the RSA Neutralize effect to the list. I then
clicked OK to process the image.
