FARTHER FASTER LONGER: Our ASEA Athletes
11
2011 Volume 1/2
It’s common knowledge that being a professional athlete takes skill, practice,
and lots of strength. When it comes to professional golf, all of these are true
– plus, you’ve got to take into account being on your feet for long periods of
time, overall flexibility, and knowing how to keep your mind on your game. The
longer you put your body through rigorous training sessions and competitive
games, the harder the consequences are on your body.
For Kristen Sunderhaft of Las Vegas, Nevada, all of these athletic abilities – and
consequences - play into her golf game. She recalls, “My joints were in really
bad shape after playing many sports and doing a lot of damage to my body.
Sitting for periods of time would be challenging, especially when it was time
to get back up.” She continues, “After being on the lesson tee and standing
on my feet all day, bending down, teeing the ball up for my students, or even
being on my knees for my junior golfers would be challenging. At times, joint
issues in my hands would even make it challenging to hold onto the golf club.”
For a professional golfer, these issues can quickly turn a promising career into early retirement. Kristen states, “Even
walking up stairs, with that nagging knee pain and stiffness, was a concern. Add an annoying upper back issue to
the stack and my tournament golf play was being affected. I thought I would have to quit.”
That was all before Kristen was introduced to ASEA. Just over a year ago, Kristen’s friend, neighbor, and golf student
Paul Taira introduced her to ASEA. Kristen says, “Paul always seems to be in the know about wellness products.
He knew about my health challenges and was well aware of how tired I was at the end of the day – physically and
mentally.” Paul insisted that Kristen try ASEA. And she did. She happily recalls, “I personally noticed a difference
the next morning. When I was getting out of bed, it wasn’t as much of a challenge to move. That was 15 months
ago and I feel the best I have ever felt. My mood is balanced and I feel very calm. I have much more energy and my
memory has improved. “
For Kristen, ASEA is a part of her everyday life. She states, “The first thing I do in the morning is feed my Beagles.
Then, I go straight to the kitchen and take my 2 ounces of ASEA. I also take another 2 ounces right before bed.”
She goes on to say, “If I am hitting the gym or riding my mountain bike, I’ll take another 2-ounce shot to help with
my endurance and then another 2 ounces right after for a quick recovery.” This method works for Kristin and she’s
noticed the difference in her performance – and life. She says, “In the past, after a few holes on the golf course I was
tired and felt like I was falling apart. Now, I have the energy to keep playing and I don’t have that exhausted feeling
after I play a round. I am more alert physically and mentally.”
On or off the golf course, ASEA is now a part of Kristen’s life. She states, “I am a walking ASEA billboard! ASEA
works and I want to share my story with others. It’s an incredible feeling to be the one that introduces a life-changing
product to someone else.”
