The Protocol Division of the Ministry of External Affairs<br />
coordinated 33 incoming and 36 outgoing visits at the level<br />
of Head of State, Vice President, Head of Government, and<br />
Foreign Minister during April-November <strong>2011</strong>. The<br />
Conference Cell of the Protocol Division coordinated the<br />
11th Indian Ocean Rim Association for Regional<br />
Cooperation Conference at Bengaluru (Karnataka), on 14-<br />
Protocol<br />
15 November, <strong>2011</strong>. During the same period, the People's<br />
Republic of Bangladesh opened its Deputy High Commission<br />
in Mumbai, two Consulates General were opened by Sweden<br />
and Ecuador in Mumbai, 25 Honorary Consulates were<br />
opened in New Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Kolkata,<br />
and 83 new posts were created by foreign diplomatic missions<br />
in New Delhi.<br />
