<strong>Schweizerhall</strong> Holding AG: shareholders approve dividend and share split, and<br />
elect new Board members<br />
Basle, April 15, 2005. 18.00h. – At the Annual General Meeting held in Basle today, the shareholders<br />
of <strong>Schweizerhall</strong> Holding AG approved all proposals of the Board of Directors.<br />
The dividend of CHF 50 per share (unchanged from last year) will be paid on May 4, 2005.<br />
The shareholders further agreed to split the <strong>Schweizerhall</strong> shares 1 to 25, effective May 10, 2005.<br />
Current member of the board of directors, Prof. Dr. François L’Eplattenier has been re-elected for a<br />
three-year period. In addition, two new members have been elected: Jean Lüchinger and Eduard Kny,<br />
the current managers of the business unit <strong>Pharma</strong>ceuticals. There are now eight members on the<br />
Board of Directors.<br />
The 326 attending shareholders represented 89 444 votes or 73.6% of the 121 502 shares issued.<br />
