QualiWare invites you to a two day conference of inspiration and knowledge sharing. Coherency, Consensus and Consistency (the 3 C’s) To stay competitive businesses need to react rapidly to market dynamics. Decision making and implementation of required transformations is made diffi cult by the complexity in business and the fact that for most people change is viewed negatively. Coherent knowledge about the business must be captured, managed and analyzed. Consensus is required among all relevant stakeholders and employees to ensure successful implementation of transformation initiatives. Consistency in the change process must be maintained across the organization. All information communicated must be transparent, relevant and easy accessible for everybody. Mastering these 3 C’s in a continuous process when working with Enterprise Architecture and Business Management Systems should be a key focus area for most organizations. Program Day 1 - Competence day 830 900 9 30 1100 1120 12 30 Registration and breakfast Welcome and introduction Kuno Brodersen, QualiWare Roger Burlton: Driving Business Results: Getting on the Right Bus There are many routes that organizations can take to try to successfully reach their Business Transformation destination. This session will examine one very successful one. It will explore the strategic journey taken by a transit enterprise spanning a government transit agency, over 40 municipalities, and over 30 transit operators to arrive at a comprehensive program of long term multidimensional change affecting and involving all of them. They are just like you when taking a personal journey whereby you: • Must know where you will be starting from • Must know desired destination • Must evaluate possible ways of getting there • Must asses your resources to pick your best way to navigate the trip • Must select the appropriate vehicle for you available at the right time • Must start the trip and get to the departure point with your belongings stop on time • Must make sure you are on track • Must make adjustments if something unplanned happens until you get to the end In it Roger will expose the methods used that combined and connected strategic planning, stakeholder environment scan and analysis, process lifecycle development, process architecture development, process outcome alignment, process interface definition, business performance analysis, pain/gain assessment, business architecture, IT architecture, portfolio analysis, business case assessment, program planning and roadmap development. This initiative was supported from top to bottom using QualiWare Lifecycle Manager sometimes stretching the out of the box functionality of the tool and forcing some new capabilities to be developed. The journey will be illustrated by artifacts from the initiative and stories of the journey will be generously spread throughout the discussion. Roger Burlton Coffe break Roger Burlton: The Business Process Manifesto Revisited At last year’s conference Roger introduced the Business Process Manifesto. Since then it has been exposed to significant input from expert thinkers and practitioners worldwide, undergone serious consideration and simplification and has been deemed ready for release by the contributing community. In this session, Roger will reveal the new version which will be made available in multiple languages concurrently including English and Danish. Throughout the session, Roger will challenge the delegates to find things wrong with a fun example of an organization’s models and also show one with compliant behavior. Delegates will receive a poster of the Manifesto principles to take back after the conference.
