Almost two months into the new year
and Valentine’s Day just behind us, we
are looking forward to some awesome
pool playing.
We are a group of mid-level to advanced
players; the high quality of play and competition
is fun and great to watch.
New players are welcome. We play
Fridays from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at KS.
The last Friday of each month is sign-up
day for the following month.

Billiards? Our Upstarts Billiards is a group
of beginners-to-average players, playing
standard Eight Ball every Thursday from
11:45 AM to 2:00 PM at the Billiards Room
(KS). Don’t be shy — come on down and

With spring just days away,
the Bird Group is looking forward to
three Friday outings. March 22, we will
be at the Turkey Creek Golf Course. Carol
Perry has arranged a beautiful morning of
birding followed by lunch. We are limited
in the number of people who can attend,
so please sign up with Paul Mac Garvey at
pmac1411@aol.com. March 29, we will
enjoy the Twelve Bridges Trail. This walk
has a wonderful variety of birds... American
Wigeons, Northern Flickers, Ruby-crowned
Kinglets and the White-breasted Nuthatch,
where we consistently see Black Necked
Stilts, Gadwalls, Northern Harriers and
White-faced Ibis. Lunch will be at our favorite
Mexican restaurant in Davis.
Next month’s meeting is on Monday,
April 8, at 1:30 PM at P-Hall (KS). Look
forward to seeing you there.
