Our arborist recently completed a
detailed tree management plan. One of
the recommendations was to install mulch
rings around trees planted in turf areas to
accomplish the following:
• Reduce the potential for damage from
landscape equipment;
• Help retain moisture and cool tree
roots;
• Move nutrients from the mulch into
the tree root zone.
