The farmers are using Indigenous & varieties of Pvt. Companies Bajra, Musturd, Til whereas
varieties like HHB-67, Pusa Jaikisan, TC-25 can increase the production of Bajra, Mustard, Till
repectivily and RSG-44 can increase the yield of Gram.

The table 2.4 b shows that only 1194 ha is (32.16%) is double cropped area. Also the crop
rotation shows that fallow lands are there. This indicates that there is scope for change in crop
rotation in fields where there are fallow lands through Soil and Water conservation measures, crop
demonstration and diversification in agriculture .
Soil and Water conservation measures besides putting fallow lands under cultivation can
change the area under single cropping to double and multiple cropping.
