All volunteers helping out with the whole group may be entitled to apply for a small grant. However, please see pages 10 & 11 for fundraising ideas. Lift passes in Big Bear and Whistler are payable locally for extra family members. 20

It is advisable to include Cancellation & Curtailment in your Winter Travel Insurance Policy MEMBERSHIP You must be a fully paid up member of Disability Snowsport UK at time of booking PAYMENT To secure a place on an activity week you must supply the required deposit of £300.00 at time of booking.You must pay the balance 12 weeks before the date of departure. Failure to do this could result in the cancellation of your booking with no refund, as stated above. CREDIT CARD PAYMENT All credit card payments are subject to a 2% charge.This charge is not applicable to debit cards. All credit card details will be destroyed once payment has been taken. CHANGES TOYOUR BOOKING Any charges that we incur due to you changing your booking will be passed on to you and included on your invoice. For example, name on passport does not match the name on the booking form UNFORSEEN CHANGES Fuel levy charges will be passed on if they occur. It is beyond DSUK’s control if the travel companies change the itinerary without prior notice. INSURANCE Personal Insurance must be taken out that covers WINTER SPORTS. A copy of this policy must be sent to the office as proof of purchase. PAPERWORK You must have completed and returned all relevant paperwork and declared that the information you have given to us is, to the best of your knowledge and belief, correct and complete. All medical forms must be read and signed by your doctor verifying that the information is correct. Your doctor must be in agreement for you to participate in the activity week with Disability Snowsport UK. HEALTH & SAFETY Disability Snowsport UK have to adhere to government guidelines.This includes a weight restriction policy.To implement this policy we ask that anyone who cannot assist in getting themselves up when falling over or who cannot transfer themselves independently must phone the office to discuss the policy. CARE PROVISION If you require personal care within your home situation or your condition has deteriorated you must provide a carer to accompany you on the trip. If the information you have given us is misleading we reserve the right to refuse travel. If it becomes apparent that care is needed we reserve the right to employ specialised care in resort with all costs being passed to the skier. 21
