You may have seen in the South Wales Argus recently an item entitled “Progress is being made on Magor station”. It reported that Cllr. Brian Jones has recommended Monmouthshire council takes forward work on a business case. This has since been approved, which is really good news. We now have our own website to help publicise our case and keep you informed. It contains fuller details of the above and more. You can view it by visiting www.magorstation.co.uk. Don’t forget to save it in your ‘favourites’ or ‘bookmark’ it to stay up to date with progress. Even though we have formalised our committee, anyone can come along to the meetings in the Wheatsheaf Inn and have their say – we’d be pleased to see you or any prospective new members. Details of the meetings (past and future) are on the website under ‘Minutes’. In fact it would be great if you could let your friends, family and associates to help spread the word. This will give us a greater chance of success. Although we are making real progress there is still a long way to go. Any practical support you can give will be really welcome. In any case, please feel free to let us know what you think from time to time. 11
