Did you know?
• 193 homes became empty during 2011/12;
that’s 41 more than the year before.
• We let 254 homes during 2011/12; that’s 75
more than the year before.
• 77 of the 254 lettings in 2011/12 were brand
new homes compared with only 6 the year
before. These included Magna’s 9,000th home in
Allers View, Dulverton.
• It took us an average of 21 days to relet our
empty homes in 2011/12; that puts us in the
top 25% of housing associations for this area of
work.
• 29 mutual exchanges took place in 2011/12; 9
more than the year before.
• We replaced individual tenancy sign ups with
a weekly ‘welcome event’ where new and
transferring tenants get together and find
out about their new tenancy as well as other
services we offer, such as money advice and
ways to get involved.
