This is Sn-Pb solder with the lowest melting point. With its low<br />
viscosity and low melting point, it is perfect for soldering Through<br />
-hole PCBs. We also recommend it for soldering PCBs with a low<br />
heat resistance temperature like flexible PCBs.<br />
Cu solder SD-42, SE-2CU08<br />
When soldering extremely thin copper wire, there is a possibility<br />
of the tin in the solder corroding and breaking the wire. Copper<br />
inclusive solder dissolves the copper in the solder in advance<br />
preventing corrosion trouble and improving the reliability.<br />

Thermal cycle tests (-40–+80, 400 cycles<br />
per 30 mins.) show that crack-rate is less<br />
than 1/8 of Eutectic solder. This means<br />
that Power Solder has a strengthened and<br />
durable life-span.<br />
'Anti-cracking properties' stop cracking caused<br />
by repeated heating and cooling of electronic<br />
components. Although lead-free solder has a<br />
higher melting point than eutectic solder, the crack<br />
occurrence rate is low, the "rate of creep" is slower<br />
and wettability is better, making more reliable<br />

When the tip surface starts to oxidize during operation, it<br />
becomes dark and does not wet properly. To improve work<br />
efficiency, use the Tip Refresher.<br />
HOW TO USE<br />
FOR MAINTENANCE<br />
1. Optimum tip temperature for refreshing<br />
the tip is from 300–360˚C.<br />
2. Dip the tip in the Tip Refresher.<br />

3. Apply solder to the tip and then clean<br />
completely with the sponge on the<br />
soldering iron stand (goot ST series).<br />
4. Apply solder to the tip again. The tip<br />
is now tinned and wetting is restored.<br />
If the tip is still not wetting properly,<br />
repeat steps 2 and 3 above.<br />
If soldering is done on a PCB while the<br />
Tip Refresher still remains on the tip, the<br />
Tip Refresher will stick to the PCB and it<br />
may corrode the PCB. Make sure to completely<br />
remove all the Tip Refresher with<br />
the sponge on the soldering iron stand<br />
before soldering.<br />
