EagleBurgmann <strong>Expansion</strong> Joint Solutions offers<br />
clamshell expansion joints - ideal in cases where<br />
replacement of a damaged or leaking expansion<br />
joint is not immediately possible or to prevent an<br />
unexpected shutdown.<br />
Although a clamshell replacement provides temporary<br />
elimination of the leak allowing operations<br />
to continue until a planned shutdown, many installations<br />
are as reliable as a standard expansion<br />
joint. The single-ply bellows is supplied in two or<br />
more parts and is designed to fit around the installed<br />
expansion joint with minimum impact on connecting<br />
equipment and piping.<br />
