the double stampings of the Eagle/655 as well as the Army test proof.
Looks to be a “y” serial number range gun which puts it in the
Kriegsmarine procurement range although the gun is not marked with a
Navy property code. The blue loss occurs to be the high edge areas,
rails and grip straps. The magazine is correct and numbered to the
gun with the serial number “y” and Eagle/655 acceptance stamp.
Serial number is 7xxy. Very nice clean early Military Luger.
This pistol is a standard Army variation. This gun has a 4” barrel with a
This 1940 Police Eagle/L sear safety Luger has matching numbers
down to the magazine and almost looks new. No cold blue or re-bluing
of this gun at all. The only wear comes to the high edge areas which
are minimal as well as well as the rails and rear of the receiver from
test firing. This gun has a 4” barrel with a mint bore and same with the
internal parts. The magazine which is numbered to the gun looks as
though it was just inserted in the gun and left there. This is the Eagle/L
range. The total estimated for the year was 3300. No doubt, this Luger
This commercial Luger has the “v” suffix in the serial number. The
pistol retains 95% of it’s original blued condition with the wear occurring
the condition of the outside of the pistol. The magazine is numbered
Pistol. Serial number is 23xxv.
This pistol is a 1936 date Luger, the front strap is marked lengthwise
Kriegsmarine variation of which approx. 1000 guns were procured.
The gun is correctly marked in every way and retains 92% of it’s
original condition with the blue loss occurring to the muzzle and high
edge areas. The straw shows some wear but is still very clear to the
gun. The grips do show some checker flattening and wear to the front
and back straps. This gun has the serial number 11xx and falls in the
“l” range. Magazine is numbered “O” 2420 “l” and Eagle/63. The pistol
with only light browning and edge wear to the high areas. The barrel is
4” in length and has a near perfect bore. The magazine is numbered
This particular serial numbered gun in Jan C. Still’s book falls under the
German Police Sear Safety according to the pistols serial number. The
These were issued to the Guardia Nacional Republicana, a barracked
troop with police functions that answered directly to the regime. This
pistol falls in the 1921v-2499v serial number range. The grips show
some light evidence of wear as do the metal parts but the pistol retains
Mauser Military “1939” Date 42 Code 9mm Luger
w/Holster
This is a Kriegsmarine variation of the 1937 Luger. It has the “N/2388”
property number across the back strap which indicates German Navy.
It is estimated that there were only a few hundred of these pistols
procured by the German Navy and mostly found in the “r” and “s” serial
number range. (This is according to “Third Reich Lugers” by Jan C.
Still) This pistol has all the correct markings for the 1937 with the
correct acceptance markings E/63. Has a 4” barrel, shiny bore and
plenty of rifling. The internal parts correspond with the condition of the
gun overall. The right wooden grip has had a split from top to bottom
and has had glue on back side to keep from coming apart. The gun
retains a 95% condition with the blue loss coming on the high edge
This pistol has the 42 code which replaced the S/42 code in early 1939.
proof. This pistol looks to be in 95% condition with the wear coming on
the high edge areas, rails and grip straps. The strawing is slightly weak
which would indicate original strawing but not confirmed. The internal
parts correspond with the condition of the outside of the gun. The
serial numbers are all correct on the gun and is 86xx(r). Magazine is
marked 7215u, +, E/63. The black leather holster does not have a
This Luger is an early serial number with the correct property number
on the back strap of “N/4808”. The pistol shows 96% original condition
with the only wear occurring to the high edge areas, rails and grip
straps. The internal parts correspond in condition to the outside of the
low serial number pistol!!
This Luger has a two digit chamber date and P.08 markings on left side
an estimated 2300 guns that were produced. The left side of the barrel
features the Luftwaffe proof and the frame has the serial number
KU41xx. The right side of the frame also has the Luftwaffe marking.
This black/brown leather Luger holster is in used but looks to be in very
good condition. Reverse of holster is marked “jme/1942”,
Eagle/Swastika over WaA14, P.08. Nice detailed stitching all around!
This brown leather Luger holster shows wear but stitching and all
156 Russian Military Artillery Range Finder w/Tripod
157 Russian Aiming Circle in Case.
This is an exceptional Luger having both Military acceptance stamps.
In 1938 Lugers were accepted with the E/63 and sometimes the E/83
acceptance stamps like this Luger. This is a transition gun having both
acceptance marks. This pistol retains 95% original condition with only
blue wear occurring only to the rails and grip straps of the gun. The
gun has a 4” barrel and wooden grips show crisp and high checkering.
The pistol comes with 2 magazines and a deep brown leather holster.
Both mags are matching serial numbers to the gun. The one in the
pistol is marked 25xxd and E/83, the other mag is marked 25xxd, +,
E/83. Beautiful holster with no loading tool and on reverse is marked
“GEBRUDER KLINGE, DRESDEN, 1936 , Drooped Winged
Eagle/WaA142. No doubt, collection worthy!!
Great example of a late “G” date Luger represented by the Eagle/63
double stamping on the right side of the receiver with the early Eagle
(dropped wing) German Army proof. The secret date code for 1935
was the “G” and was applied to the chamber. This pistol shows light
holster wear to the high edges and shows some light wear of use along
the rails. The straw and blue are very strong on this gun and the
internal parts correspond to the strong condition of this pistol. The
straw is excellent on this pistol and it probably saw little if any use in it’s
life. The magazine is numbered to the gun and is bright metal with no
blue. Mag is marked 13xxe, Eagle/63. Pistol is serial number 13xxe.
Has a 4” barrel and great wooden grips. The black/brown leather
holster has silver studs and has no extra mag or tool. Reverse of
holster is marked “BERLIN 1936” and has the German Army early
acceptance stamp. Very nice Luger!!
Russian Military Artillery Range Finder w/Tripod. This Artillery Range
finder comes with a case and tripod. Numbers on range finder
matches numbers on case and straps on case still have paper around
buckles. Tripod has paint flaking, scratches and part of leather strap
missing. Range Finder looks to be in excellent condition!
Russian Aiming Circle in Case. This Aiming Circle comes with a case,
instructions (if you can read Russian) and tools. This unit looks to be in
like new to new condition and will fit on tripod that is listed on lot #156.
