with 1 .8 steals per game and ranked second in minutes played (27 .0/game) and <strong>of</strong>fensive rebounds<br />

(1 .4/game), third in rebounds overall (4 .9/game), fourth in blocks (0 .2/game), and fifth in scoring<br />

average (5 .5 ppg) . . . Finished the season ranked seventh in the Great West Conference in steals, 15th<br />

who scored more than 1,000 career points . . . Led her team to a 25-5 record as a senior while averaging<br />

15 points, seven rebounds, two assists and two steals per game . . . Named her team’s most valuable<br />

player as a senior . . . Led Detroit Lakes High two a pair <strong>of</strong> state tournament appearances, including a<br />

used to show horses and barrel race .<br />

If Corey could have any job in the world, she<br />

would want to be a pr<strong>of</strong>essional barrel racer .<br />

When Corey was younger she used to pretend<br />

that she was a horse .<br />

Corey chose her jersey number because, “it was<br />

Kevin Garnett’s Timberwolves number .<br />

I wore it for basketball and now I get to keep it<br />

for volleyball .”<br />

Corey started playing volleyball in the<br />
