NOTICE OF SALE: April <strong>14</strong> th , 2011<br />

The <strong>University</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Michigan</strong> has the listed equipment for sale on a bid basis. We reserve the right<br />

to sell to the highest bidder or reject all bids if they do not meet our expectations.<br />

Sale <strong>of</strong> this equipment is on an “As-is”, “Where-is” basis.<br />

<strong>Bid</strong>s will be accepted until 9:00am EST Thursday April 21 st , 2011. <strong>Bid</strong>s may<br />

be mailed to <strong>Property</strong> <strong>Disposition</strong>, 3241 Baxter Rd, Ann Arbor, MI 48109. Or<br />

faxed to (734) 763-2006, however we cannot guarantee the confidentiality <strong>of</strong><br />

faxed bids. Payment is to be made by Cash, Cashier’s Check, Certified Check, or<br />

Credit Card (Credit Card sales under $5,000 only) prior to pick up. ALL<br />

SALES ARE FINAL. If you are tax exempt you must provide your tax-exempt<br />

certificate at time <strong>of</strong> payment. All items must be removed by April 28 th unless<br />

otherwise noted. No international sales.<br />

Successful bidders are responsible for removal <strong>of</strong> the equipment; they are also responsible for all<br />

damages, accidents and any other liabilities that are incurred in the disassembly and removal<br />

process. Dates for removal may vary if The <strong>University</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Michigan</strong> deems it necessary.<br />

The buyer is also responsible for, but not limited to the following:<br />

1) EQUIPMENT REMOVAL – The buyer must provide all labor and materials to<br />

de-install and transport the equipment.<br />

2) TRANSPORTATION – The buyer must arrange all transport routes and verify<br />

disassembly and removal.<br />

All information on this bid is given to the best <strong>of</strong> our knowledge. The bidder is responsible for<br />

authenticity and accuracy <strong>of</strong> all machines and information listed. High bid information will not<br />

be released until all items are picked up.<br />
