Legs, bums and abs<br />
An aerobic focused class designed<br />
to tone the lower body. A mix of high<br />
and low impact moves combined with<br />
floor exercises for toning the places<br />
you want most.<br />
From September January 2012 2011<br />
The Silver programme is especially designed for those who are over 60<br />
years old. Membership costs £1.00 per year and there are a variety of<br />
sessions across your leisure centres which cost £1.00 per person per<br />
session. These sessions include Silver gym, Silver bowls and badminton,<br />
Silver aqua aerobics and Silver swim. If you are under the age of 60, you<br />
can attend these sessions. Please ask at reception for more information.<br />
Class descriptions<br />
outdoor training<br />
This class incorporates strength and<br />
cardiovascular training techniques to<br />
create an effective and progressive<br />
programme. Outdoor training uses body<br />
weight exercises, such as push-ups<br />
and squats, as well as cardio intervals,<br />
such as running, side straddle hops and<br />
jumps.<br />
Pilates<br />
Working on a mat, you will exercise<br />
muscles such as the lower back and<br />
abdominals. This class also improves<br />
your posture and tones through<br />
lengthening and stretching exercises.<br />
Silver aerobics<br />
Don’t be fooled, this class is harder<br />
than it sounds! This class is low impact<br />
and a great workout for increasing<br />
fitness, as well as toning and shaping<br />
the entire body.<br />
Silver bowls and badminton<br />
An opportunity for all Silver members<br />
to have a gentle game of bowls and<br />
badminton.<br />
Street dance<br />
Our street dance classes will provide<br />
young ladies with a great workout and<br />
give you confidence on the dance floor.<br />
This class will improve your technique,<br />
style and flow.<br />
ultra fitness<br />
Get ready to test your stamina and<br />
mind in this station based class as you<br />
work to achieve your ultimate fitness<br />
level. You will burn fat, gain confidence<br />
and get super fit in no time, while<br />

Designed to tone muscle groups and<br />
develop strength and fitness using<br />
various equipment ranging from<br />
skipping ropes to hand weights.
