The Watering Controller must be used only for controlling
commercially available 24 V (AC) valves. The electric power
consumption per channel must not exceed 600 mA (a
GARDENA Irrigation Valve Art. 1278 requires 150 mA).
In order not to lose any data in the event of
power failure, an alkaline 9 V block battery
(type 6LR61) must be used for buffering data.
We recommend using batteries manufactured
by Duracell and Energizer (do not use
rechargeable batteries).
