Pacific salmon populations in <strong>the</strong> region have resulted in much concern as <strong>the</strong>y<br />
face multiple threats, among <strong>the</strong>m habitat alteration <strong>and</strong> loss, loss of genetic<br />
variability, climate change, diseases, parasites, contaminants, <strong>and</strong> invasive species.
