Louisa's parents were Johann Carl Gottlieb Keil and Johanna Christiane Hiller
Charles' parents were Wilhelm Staniske and Elizabeth [Staniske]

E. Louisa Ottilie Christiane 2 “Lizzie” Keil was born 19 Mar 1863 Scott Twp, Sheboygan Co WI, 8 and was
baptized 6 Apr 1863. Her sponsors were Ernst Gerschmehl, Gottlieb Graeser, and Dorothea Hiller. 15
Lizzie married Carl “Charles” Staniske 8 Oct 1888 Reformed Church, Wrightstown, Brown Co WI; 5
eight children. He was a stone mason. His parents were Wilhelm Staniske and Elizabeth [Staniske].
Born Sep 1855 in Germany, Charles died about 1933, age about 78. Lizzie died about 1936, age
about 73. They were buried Union Cemetery, Kaukana, Outagamie Co WI.
In October 2006, we were surprised and pleased to hear from a descendent of Lizzie and Charles.
She had seen her great-grandparents on our website and noticed that we had no picture of them, so she
sent us their wedding photograph!
We had tried for a long time to find information about them. This was such a lovely thing for her
to do -- now we have something about each of the siblings of KFE's grandfather!
1. Oscar Herman 3 Staniske, born 25 Jun 1889, married Alma [Staniske]; at least three children. He
was a paper maker at the Green Bay Paper and Fiber Co 1917 and 1920.
a. Clarence 4 Staniske was born about 1910 (age 10 in 1920 census).
b. Herbert 4 Staniske was born 19 Aug 1912.
c. Ruth 4 Staniske was born about 1914 (age 6 in 1920 census).
2. Albert 3 Staniske, born Feb 1891, was a paper maker at the Meade Paper Co, Ladysmith WI in 1917.
3. Ada 3 Staniske was born Aug 1994.
4. Paul Carl 3 Staniske was born 10 Jan 1896. He died 20 Mar 1969, age 73.
5. Martha 3 Staniske was born Sep 1897.
6. Charles Carl 3 Staniske was born 8 Jul 1900. He died Aug 1968 Clinton, Lenawee MI, age 68.
7. Amanda 3 Staniske was born about 1902 (age 8 in 1910 census).
8. Clara 3 Staniske was born about 1906 (age 4 in 1910 census). She married Wilmer L Parker
about 1928.
