ynthia "Cindy" Molgaard, age 63, of Storm Lake, Iowa died Wednesday, August<br />

8, 2012 at North Lake Manor in Storm Lake.<br />

Cindy Schuler was born June 11, 1949 in Storm Lake, Iowa the daughter of Tom and<br />

Pat (Belcher) Schuler. As an infant, she was baptized at the St. Mary’s Catholic Church<br />

in Storm Lake where she was later confirmed.<br />

Growing up, she attended school in Alta where she graduated from Alta High School<br />

in 1967. Following high school graduation, she attended The<br />

University of Northern Iowa and Buena Vista College.<br />

On June 5, 1969, Cindy was united in marriage to Gary<br />

Molgaard at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Storm Lake.<br />

Together, they were blessed with two children, Jennessa and<br />

Peter.<br />

Cindy was a lifetime member of the St. Mary’s Catholic<br />

Church. She also served on the board for the Habitat for<br />

Humanity, she enjoyed volunteering for the Lupus Foundation, and happily lent a<br />

helping hand to anyone that needed it. Cindy was a master gardener and loved to bake<br />

for her family and friends . Cindy treasured spending time with her family the most and<br />

especially enjoyed traveling to New England to see her children and grandchildren.<br />

Those left to cherish her memory include her parents, Tom and Pat Schuler of Storm<br />

Lake, Iowa; children: Jennessa (Sajid) Durrani of Andover, Massachusetts; Peter (Erin)<br />

Molgaard of Quincy, Massachusetts; grandchildren: Zain and Mir Durrani; brothers:<br />

Steve (Rose Ann) Schuler of Urbandale, Iowa; Shane (Jonna) Schuler of Bettendorf,<br />

Iowa; sisters: Barb (Ed “Skoog”) Anderson of Alta, Iowa; Patti (Jon) McKenna of Storm<br />

Lake, Iowa; Mindy Demers of Tunas, Missouri; Kelly (Rod Snavely) Schuler of Des<br />

Moines, Iowa; 14 nieces and nephews; 10 great nieces and nephews; extended family<br />

and friends.<br />

Cindy was preceded in death by her grandparents, Herman and Kate Schuler and Cal<br />

and Rose Belcher; infant brother, John.<br />
