rocks, weathering of soils, mass movements,<br />

and ground formations and the means of identifying<br />

surveyor in the civil engineering industry.<br />

situations: a topographical survey for engineering<br />

development. Applying (implementing, carrying<br />

out, using, executing) concepts, ideas, skills, theories,<br />

strategies in different situations in the planning,<br />

design and set out engineering works. Creating<br />

ing, devising, making) a given task to meet specifications<br />

within a strict deadline; work in groups.<br />

ACEC200: Construction Technology – ECTS:5<br />

Construction and building, materials, construction<br />

methods, equipment and procedures, fixing methods<br />

and details, health and safety considerations the<br />

basic elements of substructure (site works, setting out<br />

and foundations) and superstructure (flooring and<br />

roofs, simple finishes, fittings and fixtures) as well as<br />

basic services such as water, gas electricity and<br />

drainage. Understanding (interpreting, exemplifying,<br />

aspect of the technology of residential and office<br />

factors and their significance in building<br />

physical concepts of environmental control systems<br />

and issues, and develop an intuitive understanding of<br />

how to apply these concepts to the design of buildings.<br />

etc: how to manipulate drawings, make corrections<br />

modifications, in a fast and simple way inside<br />

and Virtual Prototyping – ECTS:5<br />

oriented software commands and use. Understanding<br />
