We all drove two hours to the mines. When we were there, the boss<br />
welcomed us affectionately. On the way the scenery was very beautiful. Sadly, one student was ill,<br />
her name is Pia.<br />
We drunk a nice Cocktail and had a nice meal. It was a nice villa from the boss with as a beautiful<br />
garden. Then we all went down to the mines with the driver and his Jeep. With helm and vest we<br />
were safe. And all thrilled by the mines. Then we all went home by car.<br />

<strong>Mount</strong> <strong>Abu</strong><br />
<strong>India</strong><br />
I enjoyed my time in <strong>India</strong> very much. When we arrived, there<br />
was a very high temperature and we were all shocked by the<br />
difference to Germany. For me the best of <strong>India</strong> were the<br />
beautiful hills and mountains, the lakes and the nature around<br />
Udaipur. It was really great, that all the cows and pigs live in<br />
the streets, like cats in Germany. I like the <strong>India</strong>n people very<br />
much, because they are very friendly and warm.<br />

On Monday, 11-02-2009 we made a trip to <strong>Mount</strong> <strong>Abu</strong>.<br />
The ride of three hours by car was really great.<br />
This ride was mainly so great because of the<br />
fantastic landscape. When we came there, we<br />
rowed with a little ship on a wonderful lake. But<br />
this wasn't the only thing we did there. The fish museum<br />
and the temple had also been very great .<br />
After all these exciting events, we went home. On the way<br />
home, we went to a nice restaurant where we eat so<br />
much that we came home with full tummies and nice<br />
impressions after another three hours ride.<br />

As a teacher it was very interesting for me to see different<br />
classes and to experience the everyday-live in<br />
an <strong>India</strong>n school. Especially the subjects we don't have<br />
in Germany were very interesting for my students and<br />
me. We could see Yoga classes and Martial Arts, we<br />
even had the chance to learn some Yoga, which was<br />
great.<br />
My students took part in different activities in school and learned a lot about the <strong>India</strong>n<br />
culture and the <strong>India</strong>n art.<br />
I will not only take home an <strong>India</strong>n instrument (a kind of “tabla”), I also learned how to<br />
play it...<br />
Thank you very much for your hospitality and for all the thing we have learned.<br />
