SINGAPORE, UK AND ZIMBABWE GCE A LEVEL (best 2 or 3)
Calculation of score: a = 5 points B = 4 points C = 3 points d = 2
points e = 1 points
HONG KONG (best 3)
Hong Kong a Levels Calculation of score: a = 5 points B = 4 points C
= 3 points d = 2 points e = 1 point (add the points scored for no more
than three courses).
the above scores do not include general Paper scores or studies in
the applicant’s first language. results in advanced Supplementary
level may be included in the aggregate and contribute the equivalent
of half a course taken at advanced level, eg a=2.5, B=2, C=1.5, d=1,
e=0.5.
MALAYSIA STPM (best 3)
Calculation of score: a or a- = 5 points B+ = 4 points B = 3 points B
or C+ = 2 points C = 1 point (add the points scored for best of three
courses attempted at one examination).
MALAYSIA UEC (best 5)
Calculation of score: a1 = 1 point a2 = 2 points B3 = 3 points B4 =
4 points B5 = 5 points B6 = 6 points C7 = 7 points (aggregate not
including Chinese and Bahasa Malaysia and/or the general papers).
SRI LANKAN A LEVELS
Calculation of score: a = 5 points B = 4 points C = 3 points S = 1
point F = 0 points (add the points scored for no more than three
courses – at least two of the scores must be at grade C or above).
You must meet the following requirements to enrol at Flinders
university as an undergraduate student:
ENGLISH LANGUAGE
If english is not your first language you must be able to meet the
following requirements:
• successfully completed an Australian Year 12 Program, or
• achieved the required Academic IELTS score for your nominated
program of study
• achieved the required TOEFL score for your nominated program of
study, or
• achieved a grade of ‘C’ or better in the GCE Ordinary Level subject
‘english’, or
• successfully completed a tertiary degree program taught in the
english language, or
• in the case of offshore programs, successfully completed other
english language proficiency tests or qualifications as approved by the
deputy Vice-Chancellor (International) on a case by case basis.
note: all english language test results must be no more than two
years old on the day of receipt of the application for admission.
AFRICA
applicants from any african countries not listed individually below must
have an examination Councils Certificate of education (local examination
board) plus successful completion of a recognised Foundation Studies
program. Students who have completed the WaSSCe or SSCe are eligible
for direct entry.
ARGENTINA
Successful completion of a recognised pre-tertiary or a foundation
program, or successful completion of one year of study at a recognised
tertiary or higher education institution is required in addition to the
completion of a High School diploma.
AUSTRIA
Successful completion of austrian Maturity Certificate.
BANGLADESH
Successful completion of Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) with
an aggregate of at least 75% in best 4 subjects (excluding any local
languages).
BOTSWANA
Successful completion of the Higher International general Certificate of
Secondary education or successful completion of part 1 (first 2 years) of a
bachelor degree at the university of Botswana or successful completion of
a recognised foundation studies program.
BRAZIL
Successful completion of a recognised pre-tertiary or a foundation
program, or successful completion of one year of study at a recognised
tertiary or higher education institution is required in addition to the
completion of a High School diploma.

Successful completion of BC-gCe a Levels.
CANADA

tertiary or higher education institution is required in addition to the

Successful completion of Secondary School Learning Certificate with a
minimum average of at least 60% (Bahrain or Kuwait) or 70% (Oman, Qatar
or uae) plus successful completion of a recognised foundation studies
program.
HONG KONG
Successful completion of Hong Kong a Levels.
INDIA
Successful completion of Senior Secondary Certificate (10+2) with
an aggregate of at least 65% in best 4 subjects (excluding any local
languages).
INDONESIA
Successful completion of SMa (ebtanas SMu3) or successful completion
of one full-time year of study at a bachelor level at a recognised institution
or successful completion of a recognised foundation studies program. SMa
grades calculated using the average of results excluding any local language
and non-academic subjects.
JAPAN
Successful completion of a High School diploma with a minimum average
grade of 80%.
KENYA
Successful completion of Kenya Certificate of Secondary education (KCSe)
or successful completion of a recognised foundation studies program.
KOREA
Successful completion of upper Secondary School Learning Certificate.
MALAYSIA
Successful completion of StPM; ueC; gCe a Level; Canada grade 13 or
successful completion of at least 32 credit hours in the american degree
Program.
MEXICO
