WELCOME!
Welcome to the 34th annual conference of the Association of
State Floodplain Managers! We’re glad that you could join us
in Oklahoma City. This Pocket Guide will help you get the most
out of your week, so be sure to keep it close at hand.
YOUR NAME BADGE IS REQUIRED TO GET YOU INTO
EVERYTHING YOU REGISTERED TO ATTEND, YOU MUST WEAR
IT ALL WEEK IN ORDER TO BE ADMITTED. If you have questions,
see ASFPM staff at the registration desk or ask one of the
local host volunteers - they will be wearing visbile vests while
on duty. Please enjoy your week as you delve into the most
comprehensive floodplain management training & networking
opportunity in the country!
General Information
Registration Desk 1st Floor Foyer
The Registration Desk is located on the first floor. They will be
open to serve you from 7:30-5 Sunday, 7-5 Monday-Thursday
and 7:30-noon Friday. Registration will close during the
plenary sessions and luncheons.
Program HQ and Speaker Prep Room MR 21
Program Coordinator Steve McMaster will be available to assist
you with program concerns throughout the week in Meeting
Room 21 on the Second Floor. Speakers may practice your
presentations here and get them queued up for your session.
Local Host / Volunteer HQ MR 8
The local host team Oklahoma Floodplain Managers
Association coordinates the volunteers required for the
many duties it takes to help operate the conference and sell
conference memorabilia. This room is near the Registration
Desk.
Message Board 1st Floor Foyer
The message board will display special notices, schedule
or room changes, phone messages, job postings, ticket
exchanges, menus, lost and found, ride-sharing, and other
information. It is by Registration.
