The Burney collection <strong>of</strong> newpapers gives useful guidance on where to find<br />
information on slavery

Example 2: Emigration From Ireland<br />
The British <strong>Newspapers</strong> 1600 -1900 is another excellent resource for primary<br />
material. Below are three examples <strong>of</strong> extracts over a 10 year period relating to<br />
emigration from Ireland. The search strategy was emigration Ireland. These<br />
terms are highlighted in the extracts<br />
